As many of you know, on October 23rd, I was
minding my own business in a crosswalk, when a taxi driver made a quick left
turn without looking and rammed into me.
I have been in the hospital ever since, which is the reason View From
Madison Avenue hasn’t posted.
I had spinal cord surgery and I am progressing well. I
hope to be my old self within a few weeks.
I want to thank my friends for the wonderful comments and
well wishes I have received through Facebook and my personal email.
Hello Paul. So glad to hear you are healing. Know that I have been sending you the warmest prayers and good thoughts. Wishing you all good things. Cannot wait to see you start posting your delicious meals with your lovely wife again. :) Peace, Tea Romano
ReplyDeleteSo very sorry to hear this, my wishes for a speedy recovery. Stay strong. As both a NYC driver and a pedestrian I know how treacherous the streets can be.

Paul - Just read about your accident, I can't believe it... So sorry to hear and hope you make a full and speedy recovery. I've been hit by a car before (twice actually) but not to the extent that you did. Don't rush your recovery, things take a while to get back to normal - but know that they do. Mike H.
